Nagoya University

Nagoya University (NU), originally founded in 1871, is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Japan. It is one of the 10 Designated National Universities in Japan—a highly selective group of elite institutions chosen by the Japanese government to lead higher education and research in the country. Since 2000, researchers from Nagoya University have been awarded six Nobel Prizes, and the university continues to be a global leader in research across various fields, including medicine, automotive engineering, physics, chemistry, and biotechnology.

Starting from November 2027, you can apply to Nagoya University's G30 International Program through the Admissions Office online application system. The G30 Program offers 10 undergraduate, and 27 graduate degree programs specifically designed for international students. These programs are fully taught in English, with no minimum Japanese language requirement at the time of enrollment. The G30 programs cover a wide range of disciplines, including natural sciences, engineering, social sciences, law, and economics.
