In this department, you can learn the basics of programming.
It is a two-year course.
There are no classes on Japanese language or culture.
In this course, classes are conducted in Japanese, as students take classes together with other students who have graduated from Japanese high schools.
This department is designed for science students.
The students learn the fundamentals of IT technology, such as programming in Java and C language and logic circuits, to develop as human resources who can play an active role in the digital society.
The students can transfer to the Faculty of Information Sciences in their third year of university or aim for employment in IT-related companies as programmers or engineers.
