We would like to inform our users that TAO Support Desk will be unavailable during the following period due to Japanese national holidays.

Period

May 3 (Wed), 2023 - May 7 (Sun), 2023

Any inquiries or other email messages received during this period will be attended on or after May 8 (Mon).

We would like to inform our users that TAO Support Desk will be unavailable on the following dates due to our holidays.

Since March 21(Tue) is also a national holiday, any inquiries or other email messages received during March 18 (Sat) ~ March 22 (Wed) will be attended on or after March 23 (Thu).

Current login procedure when your password is reset:


  1. Logged out of TAO account

  2. Access to “Reset Password” page

  3. Enter email address and save

  4. Receive email from TAO and click on the link

  5. Set new password and save

  6. Your new password is set and you are automatically logged in

  1. Logged out of TAO account

  2. Access to “Reset Password” page

  3. Enter your email address and save

  4. Receive an email from TAO and click on the link

  5. Set new password and save

  6. Your new password is set, and the page transitions to the login screen

We have found out that the email with the following subject we sent to all TAO applicant, recommender, and requestee accounts on Sepetember 7th, 2022 was sent multiple times.

Subject: Notice of Slow Downloading Process

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused due to this.



Right now, we are considering an update so that users can choose whether to subscribe notification emails.
To users who are currently not using TAO and do not wish to receive email notifications, you can deactivate your account on TAO to unsubscribe emails.

Steps to deactivating your account are the following:

1. Login to TAO

2. Click your username on the top right and select "Account Settings"

3. Click "Deactivate your account with The Admissions Office" located at the footer of the page

The download may take more than an hour to finish.

Please refrain from clicking "Download" multiple times, since it will cause a longer delay.

When checking the download status, please click your username in the header and access to "Downloads".
